Whetu workshops

 We had to do a Reflection about whetu workshops

During Term 2 and 3 the Whetū students have had the opportunity to be involved in a range of different workshops.

The workshop that I have enjoyed participating in the most has been Drama, rad rhythm, and bean growing because I had some fresh beans to eat when the plant was a bit bigger. 

The new learning that I have learned is to blow balloons up without using your mouth we had to make some lemon juice and vinegar then we mixed it with something that I forgot what it was and it blows up the balloon. 

What I have most enjoyed about the workshops are that I have been learning new things and made new friends.

 I am interested in learning more about science and learning to plant more plants

Letter of the week

 This week's letter was A and It was a bit hard but I got it finished and I really like how I did it and the background I really like the colors go really good together. This is my letter of the week photo.

Should animals be kept in zoos?

 For inquiry this week I did the poster I like the poster because I had put a lot of effort into it and a lot of colors on it I think I have done a supernova. I think animals should be kept in zoos because they are a really good place for them and will feed them every day

Cooking

 This week I chose to join the cooking workshop option.

On the first day we made the recipe and the ingredients.

On the second day we chopped and peeled.

On the third day we made the soup and it was so yummy.

Lit Inv week 5

 This is my lit Inv I like the sentence because it is like my cake for this year. I think I have done a supernova.

1. Bowl, cake, oil, and beat

2. Pan, bake, and food

3. Mix, Beat and scraping

4. Springs, wash, directed, and spread

5. They are all a verb.

You should put some chocolate on it and some white chocolate to go with the unicorn some chocolate drips down the cake, and make some cupcakes and put the unicorn on them and the edible glitter.

Cross country

 Cross Country Reflection 2020

This year I participated in the NPS Cross Country held at school on the Ngatea Domain.  I ran in the 10-year-olds age group.

I am most proud of the place that I came because I did think that I was going to do good.

I think my effort towards our training at school was ok because sometimes I talked when I should have been running.

I showed the Learning Power of Resilience by trying my best and did not give up.

Lit Inv

 I did the questions for Literacy Investigation. We had to make a poem but I did not have enough time to do it but I finished the question. This are the 6 questions. I had to control to get it on here but that is the easier way to do it. 

1. Star, Night, daylight & Ray’s,
2. Radiant, Golden, Clam &Sliving,
3. Shines-moon Bright-sun,
4. They all end with the letter’s ing,
5. It is a Diamond shape,
6. They are both round.

Tayla's freak out scale

Today I did the freak out scale I think I did a supernova because I added some emoji's and some are angry and some are happy. I love it because I made my own emoji but I only made one though but he is just breathing.

 Today I finished the letter of the week the letter h. Here is a photo I like how it is black because the black makes it pop.
